19,5x16" Soft Pastel and Pastel Pencils on Pastelmat. Having to flee your home because of violence is a traumatic experience. Life is so hard for all these people and you can see the pain in their eyes. I tried to capture this pain but also the gaze of hope for a better future. |

I have wonderful news to share with you. I have just found out that my painting "Shapes and Patterns" hangs in the main office of the trauma surgeons of The Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School (ranked the #1 hospital in the US)! I couldn't be more happy and proud!
